Terms & Conditions
Last updated 6 November 2026
The short version: one ticket admits one person once, resale stays fair, organizers run their events honestly, and we keep payments and data safe.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Accurate Ticketing website and Android app, run by Accurately, Nairobi, Kenya. By creating an account, buying a ticket or hosting an event you agree to them. Accurate Ticketing is a marketplace: each event is organised by its organizer, not by us, unless we say otherwise.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give true details. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Tell us straight away at support@accuratelysuite.com if you think someone else is using it.
- We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, touting, abuse or breaking these terms.
3. Buying tickets
- Prices are shown in Kenyan shillings and include any booking fee shown at checkout. A ticket is yours once payment is confirmed and it appears in your wallet.
- Organizers may limit how many tickets one person can buy. Orders that try to get around limits may be cancelled.
- Busy events may use a waiting room; your place is held only for the time shown.
4. Using your ticket
- One ticket admits one person once. The first valid scan is accepted; later scans of the same ticket are refused.
- Some events accept only the live QR code in the app or on the website, which changes every 30 seconds. Screenshots and printed copies will not work for those events.
- Keep your ticket private. If someone else uses it first, entry may be refused to you.
- The organizer and venue may refuse entry for safety, age limits or venue rules.
5. Transfers and resale
- Where the organizer allows it you can send a ticket to someone else or resell it on Accurate Ticketing. The old QR code stops working the moment it is transferred.
- Resale is capped at the price limit the organizer sets. Reselling tickets outside Accurate Ticketing, or above the cap, is not allowed and those tickets may be cancelled.
6. Cancellations and refunds
- If an event is cancelled, you are refunded the ticket price to your original payment method.
- If an event is postponed or changed significantly, the organizer's refund policy on the event page applies; where none is given you may ask for a refund before the new date.
- Otherwise tickets are not refundable unless the event's refund policy says so. Booking fees may be non-refundable where stated at checkout.
7. Hosting events (organizers)
- Anyone can sign up as an organizer. You must describe events truthfully (date, venue, line-up, age limits, prices) and have the right to hold and sell them.
- You are responsible for running the event, its safety and permits, and for honouring the refunds these terms and your refund policy require.
- We collect payments on your behalf and pay out sales, less our fees and any refunds, to your payout number after the event or on the schedule shown in your dashboard. We may hold payouts while a dispute or fraud check is open.
- Use attendee data only to run your event and keep it secure, as our Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Act require.
- We may take events off sale that break these terms or the law, and verified badges can be removed.
8. Door staff and staff cards
- Organizers can give team members door access and issue staff ID cards. Staff may only scan the events they are assigned to, and do not see sales or revenue.
- A staff card belongs to the organizer and can be revoked at any time; a revoked card stops working at once. Do not lend, copy or alter staff cards.
9. What is not allowed
- Copying, forging or tampering with tickets, QR codes or staff cards.
- Using bots or scripts to buy tickets, jump the waiting room or scrape the service.
- Fraud, payment chargebacks made in bad faith, or misusing other people's data.
- Trying to break into, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
10. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Accurate Ticketing available and accurate, but we provide it "as is". Organizers are responsible for their events; we are not liable for an event's content, cancellation or quality, beyond making the refunds these terms describe.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the tickets concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 or other Kenyan law.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; we will post the new version here with a new date and tell you when a change is significant. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes go to the courts of Kenya. Contact us first - most problems are solved quickly at support@accuratelysuite.com.
